When we have interest in a certain thing, we get to learn fast and with no hassle that is the good thing about enjoying. When we are students it is not at all bad if we also try to learn from the things that are fun, after all kids should also enjoy their childhood at times being too serious and not having fun may also cause kids to get burnt out and thus would result them to hate studying.
Having fun and learning must always maintain its limits. This will be fine just as long as they always keep their time in having fun and studying. When you monitor them well with not failing to remember their responsibilities to study after their fun time then there will be no issue. The important thing is once they have enjoyed their free time they should still a lot their time with doing their homework and their studies.
